If you’re using this site at all to keep up with the Colorado music scene, first off, thank you! Second, you may have noticed information not being updated. That is because I am but one person doing this site for fun, but I want to do it well so I’m going to make it mostly from scratch.
See, what happened was: I want to use this site to catalog and amplify all the cool folks who make up the Colorado music scene but there’s a LOT of us making a lot of cool music so I knew that unless I could make updating this site as quick and easy as possible that I’d fall behind. The way I have it set up now does not make updating this site quick or easy so I’ve fallen behind. I could try to keep it up to date this way but that would burn me out be no fun.
If only I knew someone who did web development who could build me the tools I need keep this site updated then updating this site could be efficient AND fun! What if it was as easy as entering band, show and venue information in an app on my phone and that information instantly updates here?! That would be so cool! If only I knew someone…
Well, it turns out that I’ve been doing web development for a while (https://www.scottpantall.com/), so I am going to use my skills and knowledge to not only build a site but also build a mobile app for myself so I can update information about the Colorado music scene as quick as possible! Wish me luck! I hope to be able to amplify the Colorado music scene relatively soon.
